Redline Restorations is proud to offer this beautiful, 1961 Maserati 3500 GT. The 3500 GT model was Maserati's first successful attempt in the Gran Turismo market, sporting a DOHC 12-valve straight-six engine that was derived from the Maserati 350S. This engine was capable of putting out 232 bhp and mated to a manual 5-speed ZF gearbox. The chassis was built on a tube platform, constructed from tubes of square, round or elliptic section of Superleggera construction.
This specific example retains a majority of its original components, including seats, front disc brakes and optional Borrani Style wheels offered from Maserati during that time period. The carpets have been replaced as well as the headliner.
With only 6618 Km on the odometer, this car has been well maintained all of its life and runs and drives great.
