Produced from 2004 to 2009, the Ferrari F430 debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show as the successor to the
Ferrari 360. Retailing at a price of €175,000, its body was redesigned to be more curvaceous and aerodynamic.
Although that did not affect the drag coefficient, it had a significant impact on the downforce. Boasting a
4.3 L V8, the F430 tops out around 315 km/h. With such a hot engine, the brakes were also redesigned to
incorporate molybdenum for greater heat dissipation performance and resistance against brake fade.
