The 488 is Ferrari’s first turbo-assisted mid-engine car to come out of Modena since the iconic F40 in the late 1980s. It was introduced in 2015 as a direct replacement for the phenomenal 458, and naturally it had an enormous reputation to keep.
Clearly however, this has proved uber successful and the improvements over the 458’s DNA were so well-received, that the 488’s engine has won the overall International Engine of the Year award at Engine Expo for four consecutive years from 2016 – 2019. Make no mistake: It's a staggering piece of engineering.
So, it gives us great pleasure to present to you this wonderful 2016 (16) Ferrari 488 GTB 3.9 V8 F1 Coupe. This car comes with a full Ferrari Service History, a Ferrari Warranty until 17/06/2021 and the balance of the Ferrari 7 Year Service Pack until June 2023.
The exterior is finished in the most desirable colour, Ferrari Rosso Corsa, and it’s abundantly obvious why this colour is specified so often from new when you see the 488 up close, it’s truly one of a kind and works so well on the 488. This car gets Scuderia Ferrari Shields on the front wings and 20-inch Forged Dark Alloys with Painted Rims and Giallo Modena Brake Callipers. It also comes with the Ferrari Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), Front and Rear Parking Sensors and the essential Suspension Lifter. The exterior is protected with a Paint Protection Film (PPF) which has been applied to the Front End, Sills and Rear Arches.
The interior is laced with black Nero Leather and contrasting Rosso Stitching, and up on the headrests of the Daytona style seats are embossed Prancing Horses. The lower part of the dashboard is finished the optional Rosso leather and looks fantastic up against the Nero Black. It also features the optional Carbon Fibre Driving Zone consisting of the Carbon Steering Wheel with LED Shift Lights. More carbon fibre is found around the central bridge and topping off the interior extras are the Rev Counter in Giallo, Foot Pedals and Rest in Aluminium, and Upper Dash and Carpets in Nero.
This is a first-class example of an outstanding piece of automotive engineering and, as you would expect from a Premier GT car, it is in immaculate condition both ascetically and mechanically.
