The Ferrari 458 Spider is Ferrari’s convertible version of the 458 Italia. Its 4.5L V8 creates a power of 571 PS, allowing a top speed of 320 km/h. By installing a hard top aluminum roof instead of a soft top, Ferrari was able to keep the 458’s design as close to the coupe as possible and limit the extra weight to only 50kg. The 458 Spider is a great allrounder, it works as a cruiser as well as a straight supercar. Its brutality shows as soon as you hit the throttle but when you go quickly around corners you really start to feel the Spider’s abilities. Based on the 458 Spider, there is a strictly limited track version called 458 Speciale A. In 2016 the 458 Spider got succeeded by the Ferrari 488 Spider. Its opponents are the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and the Audi R8 Spyder.
