This mid-engined sports car, dubbed the "Italia" and designed to replace the Ferrari F430, caught everyone's attention when it initially debuted at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ferrari 458 incorporates a wealth of technical advances from Ferraris Formula One racing experience. For example, there is a black winglet on the front grille that deforms itself at high speeds, reducing drag and creating a more aerodynamic car. The interior was designed with input from driver Michael Schumacher, such as a steering wheel geared more towards racing cars than sports cars. If you are interested in a more collectable, faster version, have a look at the 458 Speciale. If you are looking for a convertible, have a look at the 458 Spider.
