1948 Chrysler Town and Country

1948 Chrysler Town & Country is considered by many as ”one of the most memorable post-war Chryslers ever built, the Town & Country’s steel front end was all Town and the White Ash wooden-bodied rear was all Country and these elegant automobiles were equally at home in Manhattan or on your country estate.”

This 1948 Chrysler Town & Country is in very good condition with a deep Regal Maroon finish which presents very nicely against the White Ash and Mahogany woodwork. The exterior shows very well and highlights the classic look of the updated Tartan Plaid interior. There is no rips or tares in the seating and no heavy ware on the interior carpeting. The deco inspired dashboard only enhances the look and driving experience of this classic.

The Town and Country, idles and drives very well with no known mechanical issues. The clutch and brakes work properly. The undercarriage and frame are rust free and in very good condition. Part of the undercarriage is coated in a rust preventative finish. This Town & Country has factory features such as an AM radio, Mopar heaters, sun visor, dual exterior mirrors, and a spotlight, as well as the typical features of this automobile.
