The fourth generation of the BRABUS E V12, the unique high-performance sedan based on the latest Mercedes E-Class, was launched at the IAA 2009. The limited and now sold out edition was not only defined by its 800 hp / 588 kW powerful BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 800 twelve-cylinder displacement engine, which let the car run at speeds in excess of 370 km/h. BRABUS is also recognised as an automobile manufacturer by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority and the company built the E V12 based on the reinforced bodywork of the latest Mercedes E-Class sedan. The SV12 R Biturbo 800 Evolution from the proven BRABUS SV12 Biturbo displacement engine is at the heart of this and makes optimum use of the space in the modified engine compartment of the E-Class. The displacement of the twelve-cylinder engine that usually powered the latest Mercedes 600 models was increased from the standard 5.5 to 6.3 liters. The increase was effected by a special crankshaft with a longer stroke, precision-balanced piston rods and pistons with a larger diameter and an increased cylinder bore. In addition, sports camshafts were installed and the two cylinder heads finish-machined.
Both the air intake and the BRABUS twin-turbo system were newly developed for this car. The latter features two custom manifolds with integrated high-performance turbo housing and turbochargers and four water-to-air intercoolers. The combustion air is provided by a carbon-fibre RAM-air intake system that is integrated in the hood with two air inlets. A stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with high-throughput metal catalytic converters was custom-manufactured for the platform of the E-Class. All high-performance components were coordinated by the newly programmed engine electronics with special mapping for injection and ignition, which ensure not only exemplary power yield but also compliance with the strict EURO IV emission norm. The high-tech lubricants for the complete drive train came from technology partner ARAL. The BRABUS E V12 biturbo engine produces a peak power output of 800 hp / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and an even more impressive maximum torque of 1,420 Nm, which is already available at a low 2,100 rpm. In the car, peak torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission, which is matched to the power potential and the BRABUS high-performance differential with locking rate of 40 percent.
The vehicle on offer here was initially registered to Brabus Service GmbH on 7 May 2009 with the registration number BOT-EV12. For the next five years, the car remained in the possession of Brabus and was presented as an exhibition vehicle at various trade fairs. Almost exactly 5 years after the initial registration, on 5 May 2014, the owner changed with the license plate number changing to S-EV800 for the last time to date. The new owner, a passionate collector and one of our very good customers was not able to enjoy his new vehicle for too long, because our own collection administration also became aware of the car. This brought the next step in the vehicle’s history: the company Mechatronik purchased the car in July of the same year and exhibited it in its own collection, where the vehicle has remained until today. We will of course hand over this rare collector's item to its new owner freshly serviced and with new TÜV certification (German MOT). Our sales staff will be happy to answer any detailed questions you may have at any time.

Since it was founded in 1997, Mechatronik GmbH has established itself as one of the internationally most recognised specialists for classic Mercedes-Benz cars. The company has achieved solid growth, while continuously maintaining high quality standards. Our past and present success has proved us right. This is how Mechatronik GmbH grew from a three-man workshop in Großbottwar, Swabia, to a globally operating company based in Pleidelsheim, north of Stuttgart. And still, during all the changes we have seen since the company was founded, we have always maintained our philosophy and our high standards, always aiming for the best possible result.
Our team of more than 40 employees works with state-of-the-art equipment on more than 6,000 square meters. The team is a healthy mix of experienced specialists with many years of experience and highly qualified young talents. In order to ensure that we are continuing to keep this expertise in the company and pass it on to the next generation, Mechatronik has its own trainee programme.
