The Brooklands was introduced in 1992 as a full-size luxury car to replace the Bentley Mulsanne and the Bentley Eight. It is a slightly cheaper alternative (price: $156,500) to the Bentley Turbo R with the same underpinnings and engine, but lacking the Turbo R’s turbocharger. It was produced through 1998, although Bentley decided to revive the brand as of 2008 in a limited production series of 550. They will be hand-assembled and can achieve a top speed of 296 km/h.
