The Aston Martin DB11 is the successor of the DB9
that has been built from 2004 to 2016.It is a GT car and that is exactly how it reads. Top speed of 322km/h, 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and the navigation system from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class
result in a quick modern grand tourer. Inspired by the DB10, which has been built exclusively as a show car for the 24. James Bond movie “Spectre”, the DB11 is wider and more flat than its predecessor. Even though some parts of the DB11 are made from aluminium to reduce weight, at 1850kg it is not particularly light. Anyways, in the luxury sports car segment, it is just around average. Since most of the previous Aston Martin models were based on cars that have been developed 15 years ago, this completely new car was necessary to make Aston Martin attractive again. Therefore, the DB11 is leading for Aston Martin’s future.
Some of the DB11's opponents are the Bentley Continental GT Speed
and Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG
