Fractional ownership: Full or fractional ownership in private jets, what is best?

More details: I am looking into differences of full or fractional ownership in private jets and wish to know how much I need to fly to make one or the other most beneficial for me, how should I evaluate the options?

  • That´s an area of flying hours where you can both use a fractional ownership (like Netjets) or call the broker you trust. It also depends on the size of aircraft you regularly use and the distances you travel - sometimes broker can give you better prices if that particular aircraft is often available or if there are other types of the same size available (like Citation XLS, Hawker 900XP, Learjet 60 etc)

If you need more info let me know, i´m pilot on a Hawker 800XP and have good connections

  • It is borderline, I'm pending between roughly 400h up to 600h per year, depending on where our investments are located.
